Vodafone Foundation helps St Theresa home
An outside play area at St Theresa Home in Zurrieq has been given a much needed upgrade thanks to funds donated by the Vodafone Malta Foundation. The home hosts children from the age of three who come from difficult domestic and social situations.
The playground is an important element in the respite that the home gives the children – an area where they can play and have fun, and spend time with friends. The aim of the home is to give the children an opportunity to live in a stable environment in the hope of offering them a nurturing setting vital for their development, growth, well-being and healing. The playground now has a playhouse, slides, new swings and a caterpillar tunnel. The play zone has also been decked out with safety floor mats and a coloured fence to enclose the swing area and make it safe.
