Blood Donation Day for Farsons Group employees
More than 60 employees responded to the Blood Donation Drive as one of the Company’s annual corporate social responsibility initiatives. The event, organized in collaboration with the Mobile Blood Donation Unit from the National Blood Transfusion Services, was held at Farsons Brewery premises and the Company extended its invitation to other organisations to participate. Apart from Farsons Group employees, donors included members from C. Fino & Sons Ltd, MISCO, and MSVLife. The nursing and medical staff from the National Blood Transfusion Unit who was present from 0800 hrs till 1430 hrs to receive donors expressed their satisfaction at the good turnout.
Besides the blood donors, a further 12 employees also registered with the Organ Donor Transplant Support Group concurrently present for the activity.
Our thanks go to all those who voluntarily donated blood, all the dedicated nursing and medical staff who provide such a vital service and to all those who in some way or other supported this initiative, which really and truly is one of the best gifts of life.
