ALIVE bikes already on their way to London
After 14 weeks of training for the Malta Airport ALIVE 2013 Cycling Challenge for Cancer, the participating 38 cyclists excitedly packed and loaded their bikes on an Express Trailer shipping container that will arrive in London in time for the start of their 720 kilometre challenge on 19 July.
Held in collaboration between ALIVE Charity Foundation and the Action for Breast Cancer Fondation, the three-country marathon is being held in aid of breast cancer research projects funded by the University’s Research, Innovation and Development Trust (RIDT)..
ALIVE 2013 is sponsored by Malta Airport and supported by the National Lotteries Good Causes Fund, QuickFocus.com part of 6PM Group, Impressions Print Possibilities, SpringBox Media and Garmin Malta. Other community sponsors include BUFF Malta, B&G Hardware Store, Falzon Group of Companies, ROCS Group, Express Group, UVIA, Atlas Insurance and Billiet.
