Pronovias’ 2013 Bridal Collection: Regal and refined

Elegance, style and refined looks characterize the new collection of bridal dresses from Pronovias for the coming 2013 season. This collection is made up of five different lines namely Fashion, Dreams, Glamour, Costura and Manuel Mota, making up a very wide and varied collection, all featuring different characteristics but at the same time, all sharing the same femininity  sophistication and high fashion traits that have always ensured Pronovias retained a notch higher than other bridal wear brands.

The protagonists in Pronovias’ 2013 collections are the regal textiles such as satin, tulle and light embroidery that creates an iridescent effect through transparent and white paillettes that reflect natural light and blend beautifully with the sparkles on the dress itself. Small pieces of mother-of-pearl and ivory are also used, as well as feature handcrafted branches of coral and flowers. This collection shows how strapless and asymmetric necklines are still the most popular choices. Pure white is also a protagonist that defines these latest collections.

An interesting trend for 2013 is the “double dress”. One of buttoned tulle, very easy to wear, which gives the bride great poise during the ceremony, however, when the party begins this can be removed, revealing the perfect figure-skimming mermaid dress.

The Pronovias bride is a refined woman, elegant and attentive to the minute details. A bride that is after soft slanting lines, sensual draping, asymmetric necklines, strapless gowns and sleeves made of tulle evoke the lightness in the imagery of the splendid Greek deities.

Pronovias’ 2013 collections are for the romantic bride who dreams, who for a day wants to be a fairy tale princess, wearing a dress that is regal and that truly stands out. Hence the use of light tulle, the detailed embroidery, the long veil, perfect for a triumphal walk up the aisle.

However, no matter how romantic and regal Pronovias is, it remains a brand that constantly seeks to meet the expectations of today’s sophisticated bride, who wants to bring to the fore her silhouette and who does not want to give up on looking feminine nor sexy on her own wedding day.
