The Morphy Richards toaster that lasted as long as the marriage: nearly sixty years and still going strong. A 53-year-old Morphy Richards hairdryer still in working order. These are just two testimonials that one can easily find on the Internet. They are longstanding proof of the reliability of Morphy Richards products.
To celebrate their 75 years of association with Morphy Richards this year, V&F Portelli has launched a search for Morphy Richards products that are at least 25 years old, and ideally, but not necessarily, in good working condition.
Owners of such items can call at V&F Portelli outlet at Mriehel and if they would like to part from their item for a newer and equally reliable version, then they could get a discount on a new Morphy Richards item.
“Thousands of Maltese households still use Morphy Richards products that they bought in the 1980s or even before. Those items can easily be 30 or even 40 years, and still in good working order. Sometimes, people can find it somewhat difficult to part with a household appliance that has served them well for many years. Here, until the end of July 2012, we are offering them an opportunity to exchange it for a discount on a new and more versatile Morphy Richards model,” said Mario Portelli.
But why would a person buy a new Morphy Richards iron, hairdryer or toaster after so many years?
Sean Portelli replies: “If one is looking to upgrade one of the “old faithful” Morphy Richards products at home, then one is in for a very pleasant surprise. The latest models offer a number of advantages, not least more comfortable handling and better options as a result of today’s newest technologies and innovations, while retaining the reliability that Morphy Richards is world renowned for.”
