Magical Birthday at Bay Street – 13 years of success
On Sunday, 24 November, Bay Street Complex, St George’s Bay, St Julian’s, will celebrate its 13th anniversary.
Bay Street, Malta’s leading shopping, dining and entertainment complex, has a full programme of entertainment and events starting from 12 noon until 8 p.m.
Mrs Margaret Abela, wife of the President of the Republic, will officially inaugurate the new winter attraction at Bay Street, the real ice-skating rink, in the afternoon. All proceeds from the ice rink on B-day will be donated to L-Istrina 2013.
Two well-known Maltese singers, Mary Spiteri and Gianluca Bezzina, will give live performances, and these musical artistes will have their handprints set for the Bay Street Hall of Fame. Adding to the entertainment will be free animation for children and Father Christmas will be making a special visit to the Complex.
“On the celebration of Bay Street’s 13th anniversary we would like to say a big thank-you to all our loyal customers and retail partners,” a spokesman for Bay Street said. “We are delighted to be hosting this celebration, which will raise funds for the community thanks to L-Istrina 2013.”
One hour’s free parking is being offered to all those who customer who shop, dine or skate during the day.
