It was a night of bedouin luxury for employees of Banif Bank who got together for the yearly summer party organised by the Sports and Social Committee, held on the sand at the Pebbles Beach and Terrace at the Radisson Golden Sands.
On a perfectly balmy night for a sunset gathering, the Banif team relaxed and socialised in an exotic ambience of carpets, cushions and bonfires. The medieval tunes and unique instruments of local minstrel band ‘Bibita’ conjured up ancient harmonies, while fire jugglers firmly set the scene for a truly alternative night out.
“The Banif summer party is a much-awaited annual event because it always outdoes itself in being original and fun,” said Rosalie Borg from the Bank’s Customer Service Department. “This year it was bucks fizz, eastern dance, old evocative tunes and mouth watering food! Complete with good cheer of course! The Sports & Social Committee has really spoiled us and next year’s committee have a hard act to follow!”
The Sports & Social Committee organises regular events for the 160-strong Banif team, to bring together employees in fun activities, sports and CSR initiatives.
