Delta 4 space ship lands at Bay Street

Malta’s premier family entertainment centre, Delta 4, has now landed on Level 4 at the Bay Street Tourist Complex, in St George’sBay.

Delta is the fourth letter in the Greek alphabet and represents the location of the space ship-themed venue, which boasts some of the latest state-of-the-art attractions.

Step inside and embrace the fun which includes “Entrapment”, an interactive Laser Labyrinth direct from the USA, virtual reality video games, a supervised soft play area for 2- to 8-year-olds, allowing parents to shop and dine while their children have fun, as well as a fibre optic-powered internet lounge.

The venue is split into four sectors, and guests can enter though different sized space doors. “The whole design, based on a space ship theme, with a futuristic setting is intended to make this a top local destination,” according to project designer Keith Pillow of Daaa Haus. “The new structure also blends in with the surrounding area, with the same colours and Alucabond finish as the rest of the Bay Street complex itself.”

A Bay Street representative said: “We would like to offer our visitors the  best entertainment centre in Malta, combined with family-friendly facilities to ensure a great customer experience.”

Delta 4’s Internet lounge booths are shaped in the form of space capsules, providing a futuristic atmosphere.  In January 2014, Delta 4 will also welcome on board the first ever XD 6D cinema theatre in Malta.

The Laser Labyrinth experience, Entrapment, will offer contestants a range of four different skill levels for one or two players, who race against time through a series of laser beams. There will be various leader boards to beat including those for monthly contestants, by gender and age and also can be set up by specific groups, parties or private companies.

Progress of the contestants can be followed from outside the laser labyrinth room on a high-definition tv. The best scores can then be followed on the website www.laserlabyrinth.com.mt or on their Facebook page www.facebook.com/Laser-Labyrinth/.

Delta 4 also offers a dedicated parent and baby room with facilities including bottle warmers, nappy changing station, creating a quiet space where both parent and baby can be at ease.

Opening times of Delta4 are daily from 10 a.m to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
