Old Opera house ruins, the potholes of Bormla… and more

Excellent piece of investigative journalism about the old opera house and probably all done on a small budget. Makes one wonder about other programmes on TVM….

Hi, in fact we are all under the wrong impression, the Royal Opera House was not destroyed in 1942 – only one corner or about 25% was. It remained that way for years and was only finally dismantled in the early 50s, supposedly for safety issues, though the architect entrusted with this job maintained at the time and to this day, that the Opera House could have been repaired and need not have been dismantled. Maybe someone was looking for a job for the boys?
