You can’t get away

I thought the whole point of emigrating was to leave Malta and the Maltese behind?

Maybe I’m missing something but I cannot actually see the point of this new Council for Maltese abroad which has just been announced.

Apparently this is something which Maltese who live abroad “have long dreamt of”.

Really? Why?
