
This week The Malta Short Film Festival comes to a close with the award ceremony held at the Radisson Blu Resort in St Julians.
Sixteen trophies were presented in various categories:
Best Picture won by The Cortege from Spain, directed by Marina Seresesky and produced by Alvaro Lavin.
Fernando Tiberini won the Viewers’ Choice Award for his film The Parents a
Martin Bonnici, director of Tele-monkey won for Best Local Animation
Josef Cauchi won best local director for his film Butterfly.
The event was presented by Frederick Attard.
The final award ceremony will be broadcast on TVM tomorrow Tuesday 25th September at 21.45hr and via live streaming on www.tvm.com.mt. It will be also available on www.maltashortfilmfest.com later on during the week.
