ŻĦN Symphonik Choir Concert in aid of Don Bosco House

ŻĦN Symphonik Choir will be holding a concert, in aid of Don Bosco House run by St. Patrick’s, on Friday 29 June and Saturday 30 June , at 8pm at the Attard Parish Auditorium.  The concert, Seasons of Love, promises to be a great night of music for audiences of all ages, and a reminder of how better our lives are if we live and measure our lives in moments of love.

The choir brings together people from different ages and backgrounds who work together to create a fun environment for the members to develop their talents and great friendships.  Every year the choir, accompanied by a band, prepares a concert with a great mix of songs from different genres.  From the uplifting and energetic Gospels to more reflective pieces; from tunes in the latest pop charts to the all-time classics, this concert will surely give the audience a great evening of song in a contagious atmosphere of fun, and all for a great cause.

ŻĦN Symphonik Choir works within the Young Christian Workers (Malta) movement and uses the language of music to provide a space where young people can express themselves, and together with other young people, promote a message in favour of the human dignity and social justice … messages that are very much at heart to the work of the Young Christian Workers.

Proceeds from the concert will be used to help Don Bosco House, run by the Salesians of Don Bosco and a team of professional care staff. The house welcomes and provides a homely environment to young persons who have very few prospects of either being rehabilitated with their families or finding a foster family.  By providing good role models and communicating sound values they hope to help the residents develop a good character and prepare themselves for future independent living.

Tickets are out now and cost €8, or €5 for children under 12 years of age, and can be booked by sending an email on symphonik@zhnmalta.org.  The show starts at 8pm and will be held at the Attard Parish Auditorium (on the side of Attard Parish church).  For further information look for ‘Symphonik’ on Facebook or visit our website symphonik.zhnmalta.org.
