
The Women in me
In honour of all women, and the different desires and needs in each woman, an evening event is going to be held at Le Meridian St. Julian’s on the 8th March (International Women’s Day), from 6pm onwards.
The event will be under the patronage of Mrs. Abela, and part of the proceeds will be donated to the Community Chest Fund.
This event promises to attract women of all ages and will be an inflowing event, rather than a strict schedule, so people will be coming in all the time.
Participants can tour many interesting stands and attend informative talks. Talks will also be repeated for those coming in late.
Talks will include:

“Homeopathy for All – A Lifecycle Approach” Speaker: Ms. Alda Anastasi (Homeopatist)
“The Importance of Jewellery in Fashion” Speaker: Ms. Yvette Sciberras
“The Importance of a Support Group” Speaker Ms. Gertrude Abela (Europa Donna Malta)
“Pure Hydration–The Secret to Beautiful Skin” Sponsored Talk
There will also be Live Draping by Jesmond Sammut of Yesusdemaris who will also be giving fashion tips and information.
Sponsored Stands include: ATG Co Ltd, Chemimart Ltd, Cherubino Ltd, Cruelty Free Malta, E.J. Busuttil Ltd, Freelax, NSI Nail Academy, Pemix, Sebamed, Vichy Malta and Yvluxe. Associated Drug will also be sponsoring the event, while Cyka/Cyamco Ltd will be kindly donating a gift pack for the first 200 bookings. Furthermore, Chemimart Ltd and Yvluxe are offering a gift to be drawn up during the event.
Pertinent NGO’s will also be present to offer information and advice. These include NCPE (National Commission for the Promotion of Equality), Midwives Association, Gift of Life, Transplant Support Group, Kunsill Nazzjonali tal-Ktieb, and Breast Care Support Group Europa Donna Malta who will also be delivering a talk.
