Exhibits by Italian artists
Pictured above: A dream experience by Angela Pellicanò
A collective art exhibition by eight Italian artists entitled TRADUZIONE DI TRADIZIONE (Translation of tradition), will take place at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura (IIC), St. George’s Square, La Valletta from July 19 to August 16.
A second personal exhibition by Angela Pellicanò will then take place from August 23 to September 14 at the same venue. Ms Pellicanò was born inCalabriaand now lives and works inRome while still keeping close ties with the region where she has her roots.
As a ceramist she was selected in 2005 to representItalyin the “Carousel des art” Biennale in applied arts at the Louvre inParis. She is the art director of Bovarchè, an international art event and has taken part in various personal and collective exhibitions.
IIC is acting as the host while the organizer is GALLERIA MONOGRAMMA (www.monogramma.it ), via Margutta, Roma, owned by Giovanni Morabito,
