On Tuesday 2nd April, the 40,000 Reasons to Say Yes competition concluded in a nail-biting final round. Five couples took part in one final event, which took place at the Radisson Blu Resort, St.Julian’s. The event comprised of six different challenges based on skill, strength and agility. Triumphing over the competition, Ryan Galea and Ramona Camilleri (pictured above) were the lucky winners of the grand prize, €40,000 worth of vouchers and services from the four participating Say Yes brands.

The vouchers comprised of €10,000 worth of jewellery from Classic Jewellers, €10, 000 worth of furniture from Fino, €10,000 worth of catering and wedding services from Island Caterers as well as a honeymoon worth €10,000 from ROCS Group.

Say Yes was launched during the 2012 MFCC Weddings Exhibition, which took place in November. The competition unfolded online with couples being able to sign up on the Say Yes website as well as through a Facebook application until the 31st of January 2013. At the beginning of February 10 couples were then shortlisted by judges to take part in the second round. The public was then invited to choose and vote for their five favourite couples to go through to the final round. The competition then came to an end during the final event.
