New mascot for milk campaign
Mu-Mu was delighted to meet the Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi and Minister for Resources and Rural Affairs George Pullicino at the MilkFest held last Sunday in Gharghur.
Mu-Mu is the new mascot for the Milk is Good Naturally campaign – a campaign funded by the European Union, the Joint Committee for Koperattiva Produtturi tal-Halib and Malta Dairy Products, and the Ministry for Resources and Rural Affairs. Visitors enjoyed a vast selection of fresh food, drinks and desserts, all having one ingredient in common – Milk. Mu-Mu gave a continuous entertainment programme for the whole family.
The main attraction on the MilkFest was a live exhibition on milking animals and an explanation on the trade of milking and the way of living of the Maltese herdsman.
