The annual National Book Awards were recently held by the National Book Council in recognition of  the outstanding works published over the last year. The event was attended by the Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and was compered by Simone Spiteri.  Mark Camilleri, pictured below, is the executive chairman of the council.
