Stop accepting new applications for fuel stations – MDA

The Malta Developers Association notes that there appears to be a national consensus on the need for a change in the policy regulating the issue of permits for fuel stations.

While agreeing that this policy should be reviewed, MDA appeals to the Minister responsible for planning and the Planning Authority to officially confirm that any new application for such development will be subject to the new, revised policy.
This would help to relieve the Authority of pressure to commit it to observe the prevailing policy and to avoid discrimination between applicants.
