MDA on incident in Gzira
The Malta Developers Association refers to the incident that led to a Gzira Local Councillor filing a police report claiming that a contractor tried to run him over while driving a vehicle.
MDA also notes that the Gzira Local Council has decided to remain shut today in protest over the alleged attack.
From preliminary investigations, it resulted to the MDA that the incident was not related to any specific development, but it was more of a personal tiff between the man described as a “contractor” and the Local Councillor.
Even so, since the man’s parent organisation is an MDA member, MDA will be taking the necessary disciplinary action if the allegations prove correct.
