University student Sarah Borg won the holiday of her dreams in Vodafone’s lottery for students organised at the start of the scholastic year. The Vodafone lottery was open to all students over the age of 16 who had a valid smart card, whether or not they were Vodafone clients. Winner Sarah Borg gets to choose the location and duration of her holiday as well as travelling and lodging logistics. Moreover she will have the luxury of inviting her friends to join her on her holiday and Vodafone will cover travelling, accommodation, insurance and visa expenses for up to €2,000.
In the same lottery another student, Terence Lauri, won a Gozo weekend break worth €500 with the possibility of choosing lodging, duration and inviting friends.
At the recent prize presentation both students described their feelings of pleasant surprise. “I couldn’t believe that I won a holiday worth €2,000,” said Sarah Borg. “My mind started racing on where to go and who to invite. Vodafone’s competitions are always super cool and it was so easy to participate. Vodafone never let me down and it is so much more than just a mobile operator. I can’t believe I’ll be off very shortly to my favourite destination.”
“As a customer obsessed organisation we do our utmost to ensure that we’re close to our customers with gifts and prizes that they really desire and appreciate,” said Alastair Vella Stiles, Product Marketing Executive at Vodafone Malta. “We know a holiday tops the wish list of most students and we’re satisfied that we’ve offered the students something that they want.”
