• Creative photographic exhibition by Rene Rossignaud  

 Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa is presenting another creative partnership, this time with talented photographer Rene Rossignaud. During an informal launch with VIP patrons, the Management of the hotel and Rene himself were indeed very proud to celebrate the exhibition of a new photographic collection now displayed at KuDéTa Lounge & Bar.

Over the years, Rene Rossignaud has become famous for his lightning and striking images. Amongst the amateurs of photography in Malta, he is known as “The Storm Chaser” – and quite rightly so, with an incredible collection of shots capturing the beauty of the Maltese weather at its wildest. It is this original angle of Rene’s creativity that both the hotel and the photographer decided to exploit for their partnership.

“Rene’s photos that are now on display in our Lounge are amazing pieces of art, perfectly suited to the spirit of our Brand”, states Franco Vella, General Manager. “They depict a fresh and contemporary perspective on photography, whilst giving the opportunity to our overseas visitors to unveil typical landscapes of our island with a different perspective. I am sure that they will generate a lot of interest and they are perfect for travelers who wish to take back home a creative yet authentic souvenir of their vacation with us.”

Currently, the exhibition consists of 8 photographs, all printed on wooden canvas. Surprising views of such places as St Julians, Ta’ Xbiex, Madliena and Sliema  take the audience right into the most intense moment of an unleashed weather. Connoisseurs can learn about the technicalities of each shot with the description tags on display underneath each of the frames.

Apart from his interest for raging elements, Rene Rossignaud has also been busy with many international events. He has accumulated an extensive library of celebrity images, which have been published in many international magazines. Rene is indeed a very creative and accomplished photographer. “The bigger the challenge, the more determined I am to capture the most original image”, explains Rene. “My unstoppable hunger for exclusivity has also taken me to hot war zones around the world. There is never a dull moment when you live your passion to the full”. His talent is also often called upon for Weddings and ‘red carpet’ events and Rene does not resort to any trick photography to bring out special effects in his pictures. He strives to produce unique shots purely by bringing the best out of his equipment and his creative mind.
