HSBC Contact Centre holds recruitment day in Gozo

Human Resources personnel from HSBC Contact Centre in Swatar, which exclusively services UK customers, will be in Gozo on Saturday 18 August, seeking to recruit persons with fluent English and good interpersonal skills for the position of Banking Specialist. Selected candidates will receive a 12 week training programme on full pay before they are integrated into the Contact Centre banking system, which is on shift-rotation basis.
The recruitment day, happening just after Santa Marija feast when many Gozitans are on holiday and many Maltese are visiting Gozo, will take place at Arcadia Shopping Centre, Victoria from 9 am to 4 pm.
At present, there are some 12 employees working at Swatar’s Contact Centre hailing from Gozo. Gozitan employees benefit from free ferry tickets each time they travel between the two islands, and free return transport from ?irkewwa to the Swatar Contact Centre.
Gozitan employees have joined HSBC to secure a job that would offer them stability and opportunities for career development and progression, including travelling and working abroad with the same company as HSBC is present in over 80 countries.
