For the seventh time, Lidl Malta will be supporting this event and taking an active role in the fundraising weekend. The sum to be donated contributes to the total amount of money collected over the three days with these funds going to the Puttinu Cares Foundation who offer an all-inclusive approach of care for families affected by cancer. 

Lidl Malta, the country’s leading supermarket with eight outlets spread around the Maltese islands, will be the main sponsor of the 14^th edition of the 60 hour Football & Volleyball Marathon. The event, which is organised by the Puttinu Cares Foundation and will be held between the 18^th and 20^th May at the Marsa Sports Ground, is a national charity fundraiser which is eagerly awaited by the Maltese people. A large number of teams will be challenging each other during the three fun packed days on both the football fields and the volleyball courts in order to raise funds for the foundation. The weekend promises to be fun for the whole family with a jam-packed programme including shows, a big fun park and animation for the little ones.
