Red Bull Kart Fight World Final 2015

From around the globe, the best amateur kart racers in the World of Red Bull will gather at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria on April 24th and 25th to find out who is the best of the best. Malta will be represented by Lucas Pace and Nathan Grech who won the Seniors and Juniors Category respectively during the local Red Bull Kart Fight last December.
The third running of the Red Bull Kart Fight World Final features 18 finalists, from countries with a great motorsports history like Brazil and Japan and other nations who have yet to stamp their presence in the global record book. The finalists will be coached by F1 star Max Verstappen and fellow Red Bull Junior Team drivers Pierre Gasly (GP2) and Callum Llott (Formula 3).

“We are ecstatic that we are representing Malta in the World Finals. This has been a dream come true and we will both give our utmost to make Malta proud,” said Lucas Pace and Nathan Grech. The Maltese finalists said that the kart track has been specially created and laid out in the driving centre at the world of Red Bull motorsports. “This year’s track will surely provide close action and will definetly prove one that will test all our skills, but with the help of Red Bull Athletes Max Verstappen, Pierre Gasly and Callum Llott we are being given the opportunity to improve ourselves right when it counts,” they concluded.
The kart that will be used for this year’s World Final is the Sodikart ODI RX 250 featuring the Sodi 250cc 4-stroke fuel injection engine that will provide all the performance needed for the finalists to really show their metal.
