KMS Skolasport dancers to perform during the Sport Malta Awards 2015

For the first time, 40 KMS Skolasport dancers are being given the opportunity to perform during the upcoming Sport Malta Awards. The show can be considered a major milestone for the senior students performing in a national event.  KMS Skolasport Dance Coaches Ms Roxanne Gauci and Ms Stacy Giordmaina, who also auditioned the dance students in various dance disciplines, are preparing them for this unique platform.

Ms. Stacy Giordmaina said, “Our dance classes are designed to give students the opportunity to learn the discipline of dance, and at the same time enjoy the training, and dancing on stage. KMS Skolasport curriculum covers dance styles and routines from pop and street dance to musical theatre. Following some years of training, we are now seeing good dance talent flourishing among our youngsters and this performance will give them the right platform for exposure.”

Kellogg’s, the world’s leading producer of breakfast cereals, has been supporting KMS Skolasport for these past 15 years as part of its commitment that good nutrition, coupled with physical exercise lead to a healthy lifestyle.  Skolasport, through the KMS Programmes Department has been offering dance classes for these past 11 years, and some students have been attending dance classes ever since.
