Flora ProActiv celebrating World Heart Day during Science in the City
On 29 September, Flora ProActiv, together with the Malta Heart Foundation will be celebrating World Heart Day at the Science in the City project in Valletta by promoting general well-being with a focus on heart health.
Cardiovascular diseases, including heart diseases and strokes, are amongst the most common causes of death and ill-health in Malta. Heart diseases and strokes are caused by risk factors such as poor nutrition and lack of physical activity, smoking and excessive alcohol drinking, as well as by being overweight or obese and having high blood pressure, high cholesterol and/or diabetes.
Flora ProActiv, together with the Malta Heart Foundation will be at Science in the City in Valletta on World Heart Day between 6pm and 11pm, and representatives will be able to answer any questions and discuss heart health.
Flora ProActiv’s range of cholesterol-lowering products don’t just include ProActiv Light and Buttery but also delicious ProActiv mini drinks in Pomegranate & Raspberry, Strawberry, and Original, as well as ProActiv semi-skimmed milk.
Members of the public are encouraged to take part in these events. Besides learning more about what can be done to have a healthy heart and live a healthy lifestyle, those present can also sample the products and get a free guide on how to lower their cholesterol.
