The Real Ice Rink opening at Bay Street Complex coincides with 15th BXV-day

Two reasons to celebrate on Sunday, 22 November, 2015, at the Bay Street Complex in St George’s Bay, St Julian’s: 15 fashionable years, plus the official opening of the Bay Street Real Ice Rink.
There will be a full day of activities for everyone, including families, with live entertainment during the day, a meet and greet with all the kids’ favourite toon characters and dinosaurs – yes it’s two now with the first appearance of the Indominus Rex dinosaur – magic shows, puppet shows, as well as an opportunity to meet the cast of Strada Stretta, Frozen and Star Wars.
Among the well-known Maltese singers and entertainers who will be performing on the day are Fiona Cauchi, Larissa Borg and her trio band, Elisa Muscat, DJs Pierre Cordina and Alessia De Martino, Dance College, the Waterfall Dancers, the Fantasy Showgirls and the Alison White Dance Cabaret show.
Special awards will be presented from the Strada Stretta team to two drama veterans, Jane Marshall and Josette Ciappara, for their outstanding contribution to the theatre over a large number of years.
So come along and bring your friends and family with you. You might spot Father Christmas in the crowd. There will be free cake plus free entrance to the Ice Rink, which opens for the first time this season, which stretches over Christmas to March 2016. Take advantage of the offer of free parking for an hour in both Bay Street’s indoor and outdoor car parks for anyone who shops, dines or skates during the day.
“All of us at Bay Street wish the public to join in for this memorable 15th anniversary birthday bash. We are truly grateful to all those involved: the owners and management who had the vision to get Malta’s premier shopping, dining, leisure and entertainment complex started in the first place,” a spokesman for Bay Street said.
“We extend our gratitude as well to the tens of thousands of loyal customers who regularly visit the complex and all our retail partners.”
