Prominent Valletta outlet for Brooks Brothers

American icon Brooks Brothers, the oldest clothing retailer in America, has a new home in the heart of our capital city, Valletta, at the former Vee Gee Bee premises in Republic Street, just opposite the old Opera House.
With almost two centuries of history, Brooks Brothers is proud to uphold the same traditions and values, and for this reason its customers consider it to be far more than a clothing outlet. It was a pioneer, way back in 1849, of ready-made clothing. A year later it adopted the Golden Fleece symbol as its trademark.
Such items as the button-down polo shirt, introduced in 1898, are still a staple, developed to today’s requirements as non-iron shirts. The brand that was the favourite supplier of suits to US presidents and business titans has broadened its collection to include more casual lines and, in 2016, the first women’s fashion and accessories collection by world-renowned fashion designer Zac Posen.
The Valletta outlet of Brooks Brothers, over 120 m2 on three floors, currently stocks the Autumn-Winter Collection. According to franchise owners DIZZ Group, with all the investment going on in Valletta in the run-up to V18, it was an excellent opportunity to reposition the brand.
“We have an excellent relationship with the mother franchise and we look forward to creating new jobs to cement Brooks Brothers as one of the top brands in Malta. We have already set sights on opening another store in the coming years to house the four collections that the brand has to offer including kids wear,” a spokesman said.
“This is a company that is constantly striving to improve its quality and widening its appeal. We are working to improve pricing and through the choice offered – 75% of the items on display are menswear and the remaining 25% are women’s clothing – we are targeting a new audience for this brand.”
You will also find the Red Fleece casual/sportswear collection and the Designer collection at Brooks Brothers.
