HSBC Malta Water Programme songs now available for download worldwide

Two international songs by HSBC Malta Water Programme are now part of the digital music libraries of some of the world’s most famous music services.
Embodying the message of water conservation, the upbeat songs ‘Catch the Drop’ and ‘Water Life’ are just as peppy as water’s vitality for human life.
Fans can discover and then hum or dance to the catchy songs on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon MP3, MixRadio (Nokia), Xbox Music (Microsoft), Omnifone (Sony Music), Spotify, Deezer, 7Digital, eMusic, KKBox, JB Hi-Fi, MediaNet, VerveLife, WiMP, Rdio, Shazam, among others. The songs can be downloaded on computers, mobile phones, and tablets.
Glenn Bugeja, HSBC Water Programme coordinator said: “The HSBC Water Programme songs have been created to carry the spirit of our campaign in an uplifting fashion but also to let their catchy tunes and referencing of water messages to stay with the listener.”

The sweet voice of a group of students from Our Lady Immaculate School, Ħamrun, became the perfect pairing for the messages of the songs, with artistic collaboration coming in from as far as the Philippines and the United States. The collaboration was led by OLIS’ music teacher Maria Cachia Abdilla who worked with Maestro Sandro Crippa from Florence.

One of the water song singers, Destiny Chukunyere, represented Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Sofia, Bulgaria and won the prestigious title.
The HSBC Water Programme songs can be searched as Water is Life (album) by HSBC Water Programme (artist) or by individual track titles, ‘Catch the Drop’ and ‘Water Life’. They are filed under Children’s music.
Owing to their popularity, the water songs have also been turned into music videos by the MCAST Institute of Art & Design students.
