New director at Malta’s largest contact centre

The HSBC UK Contact Centre Malta (HBEU) has welcomed Robert Vaughan as its new contact centre head, at a time of continued growth in staff and call volume and as it prepares to celebrate 10 years of successful operation in Malta throughout 2016.
Mr Vaughan began his career at HSBC UK Contact Centre Swansea in 2004 as a customer service associate and has since then helmed 10 different roles within contact centres working all over the UK and India. He credits his career ascendency at HSBC to the great many opportunities that the Bank creates and the enabling environment it fosters to help staff grow.
“Joining HSBC in Swansea was my first full-time job and I quickly saw signs that this was a great company to work for. I want to replicate that same enabling environment in Malta where I have been really impressed with the staff – they are very passionate about providing excellent customer service,” said Robert Vaughan.
Under his leadership, the focus at HBEU will be to create an even better workplace for the employees, who would be able to choose amongst a number of pathways to expand their career and, in turn, deliver a first-class customer experience.
