MDA expresses full solidarity with injured Police Officer
The Malta Developers Association wishes to express its full solidarity with PC Schembri, the member of the Traffic Police who was grievously injured while on duty this week.
MDA believes that all members of the Police Force should be treated with respect and that all members of the public should obey their legitimate instructions without hesitation.
It is unacceptable that every day members of the Police Force should face the prospect of being injured when they are just on duty, striving to earn their livelihood and that of their families.
While we should be grateful to the Police for their role in maintaining law and order in the country, more needs to be done to educate the public to behave correctly at all times.
