Chamber of Pharmacists’ right of reply re MAP issue
Mary Ann Sant Fournier, President of the Malta Chamber of Pharmacists, has sent this reply to the article Strong men do not have to put women down to feel powerful, regarding the Emergency Contraception pill.
“Please note that the Chamber fully dissociates itself from the unacceptable comments made by the pharmacist in question. Pharmacists in their greater majority are responsible and competent healthcare professionals who offer their professional caring services every day to the public. In the context of the EC, pharmacists will continue to offer their services according to a predefined protocol. Those who do not wish to may do so because of their right to conscientious objection.”
