Mro. Mazzoccante, Artistic director of International Academy “Cenacolo della Musica” and a pianist with an extraordinary charisma, is back to Malta in December for the piano recital organized by the Mediterranean Conference Center in collaboration with the European Foundation for Support of Culture.

The programme includes works by Haydn, Mozart, Chopin, Verdi/ Wagner and Liszt /Wagner. Mazzoccante’s piano style is based on sound technique and an emotional but contained approach. The concert is part of the Cultural calendar at the MCC, which is becoming a leading venue for Classical music and has already collaborated with foreign prestigious orchestras such as the Georgian Sinfonietta and the Chelyabinsk State Chamber orchestra from Russia while obtaining financial support from international institutions.

This concert by the Italian virtuoso Mro. Mazzoccante is an opportunity for music lovers as well as music students and professionals to hear some of the masterpieces of the piano literature. Moreover, Mro. Mazzoccante will be giving master-classes to the young pianists – winners and special mentions of New Names Malta – National Programme on the 13th of December at St. Patrick’s Church, Sliema.
