Users of the new Shireburn Indigo Payroll have gone live as of January with this new generation Cloud-based software product. Client uptake targets were well exceeded with more than 30 new companies and 500 employees in just the first month of the year.
Shireburn Indigo Payroll is a web-based payroll and leave management software, designed, developed and supported by Shireburn Software. As well as offering all the standard features of a payroll, Shireburn Indigo provides a self-service web portal for employees, allowing them to manage their own leave and approve the leave of the staff that report to them, as well as obtain copies of previous payslips and government forms, with the objective to increase the productivity of the payroll and HR departments.
Shireburn is already a leader in the local payroll market with its on-premises payroll offering, the Shireburn Payroll & HR System (SPS). The company’s software products process the payroll of over 50,000 employees every month.
Many of those who have taken up Shireburn Indigo Payroll are new clients to Shireburn, having previously used other software programs or having painfully calculated their payroll on spreadsheets. Many of Shireburn’s existing clients have also begun to migrate to Shireburn Indigo, although Shireburn has committed to continue to support both cloud and on-premises solutions.
